Global Leadership for EUROCERT
EUROCERT has recently verified Health Product Declarations (HPDs) for reinforced concrete products produced by Al Ittefaq Steel Products Co in Saudi Arabia and elevators from Schindler in Switzerland.
A Health Product Declaration (HPD) is a standardized report used to disclose the contents of building materials, as well as their potential risks and impacts on human health. HPDs are developed according to the requirements of the HPD Open Standard issued by the American organization HPDC, which provides a coherent framework for reporting a product's components and describing the health risks to users of those products.
The verification of Health Product Declarations (HPDs) involves an audit, conducted by an HPDC-recognized body, of the information related to the human health impacts of the products under review. Verified HPDs are registered on the HPDC Builder platform and made publicly available for anyone interested in evaluation and comparative study.
EUROCERT is the only Certification Body in Greece, and one of only six worldwide, authorized to provide HPD verification services. This success highlights EUROCERT's strong outward-looking character, operating in 40 countries globally, and its high reliability, as it is chosen for collaboration on innovative projects by major international businesses.
